Field Regulations:
Practice:
- Children cannot be left unattended at anytime. There is no practicing without a registered coach.
- An adult must accompany siblings at all times.
- Teams practicing on turf must stay on turf surfaces.
- Teams practicing on grass must stay off of turf and track surfaces.
- Coaches are responsible for cleanup in their practice areas.
- Teams practicing on grass areas must exit behind visitor's stands and sweep feet before entering walkways. This is a must!
- Blocking sleds and blocking pads must be put away in designated areas at the end of each practice session nightly.
Game Warm-ups: - Teams will not enter the grass or end zones until the start of the 3rd quarter of the game.
- Teams will clean cleats or shoes with 5 minutes to go in the 4th quarter of the game.
- Waiting teams will not enter turf surfaces while a game is in progress.
Games: - Coaches and players only on playing field and track surfaces.
- Water only on turf and track surfaces (NO Sugar/Sports Drinks!).
- Cleats and shoes must be cleaned before entering onto turf surfaces.
- Coaches are responsible for cleaning up garbage on sidelines after each game.

King County Conference Rules and Regulations Governing Synthetic Turf Fields
- Participants and officials must wear molded sole shoes or tennis shoes on the artificial turf.
- Track spikes are to be limited to 1/4" in length only and are limited to, and for, use on the track, runways, and high jump aprons.
- Substances which may stain the artificial turf or track, such as crepe paper, food, candy, seeds, soft drinks, gum, coffee, vaseline, etc., must be kept outside the turf surface and track.
- The use of sharp objects or golf clubs on the artificial turf surface and track is prohibited.
- Only participants (coaches, players or officials) are permitted inside the playing area fence. This includes the track and field areas.
- Marking or painting on the track, turf, or other facility surfaces is prohibited. Competitors in track must use moveable markers.
- Cheerleaders may use team run-through signs. However, such activity is limited to the blacktop area in the end zone only and home team only.
- Only authorized maintenance vehicles are allowed on the track or artificial turf.
- The following are examples of activities not permitted inside the perimeter of the facility:
- Bicycle riding
- Pets
- Skateboard riding/roller-skating/roller-blading
- Unsafe, boisterous conduct, improper language, and other objectionable practices will not be allowed and must be controlled by user.
- Alcoholic beverages or narcotics shall not be brought to, or consumed on school property. The use of tobacco (smoking or chewing) is not permitted on school property.
- Kicking or bouncing balls against the fence, grandstands, or any standing structure is prohibited.
- Burning material of any kind is prohibited within the complex.
- No signs are to be brought into the complex without prior approval. Approved signs may be posted within conference rules.
- Any and all field manager/field supervisor directives must be observed and obeyed.
