Flag players will register at the same time tackle players register. View registration information The Bothell Cougar Junior Football Association (BCJFA) has developed a flag football program for kids aged 6-8 who are under the minimum age and/or weight to play tackle football in our league.
The BCJFA Flag Program gives young players a chance to be exposed to the benefits of playing organized sports and a great base of football knowledge to build on if they choose to go on and play tackle football. Most of our flag players have decided to sign-up for our tackle program when they are no longer eligible to play in our flag program.
Our flag teams usually each have 10-12 players each and play 9-man football. This ensures that each player gets as much playing time as possible. The age and weight limits provide a safe, fair environment. View the BCJFA Flag Football Program Rules |
